About Toto
The group Toto was formed in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also acclaimed studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs at the time) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word meaning "all all-encompassing," the group was intent on exploring every style of music.
The third album from Toto, Turn Back, was a failure in 1981. However they came back with their fourth release, Isolation, which contained two songs that were hits, including the title song and Roseanna. 먹튀검증 and tour makes them a household name around the globe.
After a short hiatus, Toto returns with the album Fahrenheit. The album is an departure from the ballads that were featured on previous albums, and also features some heavy rock. The album was their first to be certified platinum in North America.

They decide to change their name and create a new album with the new producer. Joseph Williams, the son of John Williams, the legendary film composer and actress Barbara Ruick from 1950s, takes over Fergie Frederiksen as lead vocalist. Joseph is a more natural frontman than Frederiksen and gives the band a much-needed boost.
The band released Mindfields in 1999, and then embarks on a huge tour around the world. After several weeks in Europe, the band heads to Japan for sold-out shows. After a short break, Toto resumes recording and continues to record their first live album, Absolutely Live in 1993 which includes the cover of Weezer's track Hash Pipe in response to the band covering their hit Africa during a recent tour. Toto's touring lineup includes drummer Lenny Castro and bassist Shannon Forrest along with keyboardist Shem Von Schroeck.

The following year, Toto toured with Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. This was the last time that all of Toto's original members were together on stage at the same time. The band broke up again after this. However, Toto reunited in 2010 to benefit the ALS Foundation. It was the first time in over 31 years that all Toto's original members were on stage together. In addition to the original members keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.

In 2002, drummer Greg Phillinganes left the group, and keyboardist David Paich took a leave of absence for health reasons. In 2008, a string lineup changes and a series of disappointing releases prompted Toto to call it quits for a few years. However, the group resumed touring in 2012 with the release of their album 40 Trips Around the Sun.
The album marked a return to their best form and the tour that went with it was a sold-out event in North America and Europe. The reunion of Toto gained momentum with the return of bassist Shem Von Schroeck and guitarist Steve Lukather.
